Niagara Clifton Group is currently hiring Servers for our Ruby Tuesday Restaurant.
Ruby Tuesday is a fast-paced and high-volume full-service restaurant offering a vast array of signature lunch and dinner options. From our Endless Salad Bar and generous appetizer choices, to famous handcrafted burgers, steaks, seafood, and more, there is something for everyone! Our guests can relax and take in the views of the Falls and Clifton Hill from our indoor dining area or on our rooftop patio.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Server will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests by placing accurate orders and ensuring timely delivery. You must be able to do so in an efficient manner, ensuring quality presentation and elevated service is consistently provided to all of our guests.
Shifts: Days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Full-Time, Part Time, Seasonal
Compensation: $16.55 per hour, plus tips

Responsibilities:
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude;
- Write down customer food orders/ memorize orders and enter orders into POS for transmittal to kitchen staff ensuring dietary and allergy concerns have been addressed;
- Consistently engage with customers in a timely, friendly and professional manner;
- Knowledge of the menu, food specs and specials, with the ability to make suggestions and upsell where appropriate;
- Table checks to ensure that customers are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues;
- Efficiently collect payments from customers using cash, debit or credit terminals;
- Actively listen and respond positively to all guest inquiries, concerns, and requests;
- Accommodate special requests for guests whenever possible;
- Effectively communicate with all team members both BOH/ FOH and management;
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and ensure proper cleanliness when turning tables;
- Strong bar knowledge to support and seamlessly operate service bar as required; and
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management including, cleaning, rotation of product (FIFO system) and assisting other team members and needed.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude and adaptable personality;
- The ability to multitask, while under pressure, in a high-volume setting;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with your customers and co-workers;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Available to work various schedules (days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays) to support the hours of operation; and
- Physically able to perform light-medium duties including lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time as well as continuously travel up and down stairs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a server in a high-volume restaurant (required)
- Smart Serve Certified (required)
