Bartender
Niagara Clifton Group is currently hiring Bartenders for our Ruby Tuesday Restaurant.
Ruby Tuesday is a fast-paced and high-volume full-service restaurant offering a vast array of signature lunch and dinner options. From our Endless Salad Bar and generous appetizer choices, to famous handcrafted burgers, steaks, seafood, and more, there is something for everyone! Our guests can relax and take in the views of the Falls and Clifton Hill from our indoor dining area or on our rooftop patio.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, as a Bartender, you will be responsible for the preparation of beverages for servers, providing full table service to customers as well as processing customer transactions. You must be able to perform your work in an efficient manner, ensuring that a quality product is provided, as well as stocking, and changing kegs.
Shifts: Days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time Seasonal.
Compensation: $16.55 per hour, plus tips

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Actively listen and respond positively to all guest inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Effectively communicate with all team members both BOH/ FOH and management
- Accurately prepare and serve beverages according to spec in a timely manner to guests and service bar
- Communicate specials, limited time only features, and upsell where appropriate
- Efficiently process transactions and take payment
- Uphold the cleanliness of work area and maintain company standards
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management including, cleaning, rotation of product (FIFO system) and assisting other team members and needed
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to multitask, while under pressure, in a high-volume setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with guests and co-workers
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of wines, martinis, and cocktails, and beers
- Ability to comply with AGO regulations, as well as work safely and comply with all sanitation and health and safety standards
- Physically able to perform light-medium duties including lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching and bending
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as well as continuously travel up and down stairs
Qualifications:
- 2 years of comparable bartending and service bar experience (required)
- Smart Serve Certified (required)
