Assistant Manager –
Clifton Hill Family Restaurant
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of this high-volume full-service restaurant. By passionately supporting and motivating the team in a manner that ensures all service standards, operational procedures and policies, customer satisfaction, sanitation, and cash handling duties are executed personally or through subordinates.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the GM in all aspects of operating restaurant to company standards, creating a consistent and positive guest experience while focusing on on-going employee development
- Leads by example by demonstrating a deep commitment to excellence in customer service, while a maintaining a professional, positive, and friendly attitude
- Encourages and fosters a safe and fun atmosphere and experience for staff and guests
- Effectively run the dining room operations by overseeing the preparation, presentation, and delivery of all food and drink items to maintain timeliness and consistency with service standards
- Ensures adherence to point-of-sale controls and cash handling procedures
- Oversee training and promote continued employee growth and development
- Willingness to develop additional skills to expand and support the growth of the role to fit business demands
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in restaurant supervision or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, Health & Safety procedures and best industry practices
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work early morning, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Full-Service Restaurant Supervisory or Management: 2 years (required)
- Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time, Year Round
Compensation: From $46,000 per year based on experience, plus health benefits.
