Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of this high-volume full-service restaurant by leading team members in a manner that ensures all service, presentation, quality, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Shifts: Early Mornings, Days, Afternoons, Evening, Weekends, and Holidays.

Job Type: Full-Time, Year Round

Compensation:  $43,000 to $47,000 per year based on experience, plus health benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads by example by demonstrating a deep commitment to excellence in customer service, while a maintaining a professional, positive, and friendly attitude
  • Encourages and fosters a safe and fun atmosphere and experience for staff and guests
  • Oversees the preparation, presentation, and delivery of all food and drink items to ensure timeliness and consistency with service standards
  • Performs opening and closing duties, and ensures adherence to point-of-sale controls and cash handling procedures
  • Performs other duties as required by management

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of full-service restaurant management experience preferred
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Ability to work varied shifts (early mornings, days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays) required
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skill
  • Ability to remain professional in all circumstances and work as part of a diverse and collaborative team
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
